Stephen Fielding was born in 1952. He was called to the Bar in 1974. He subsequently held in-house counsel posts at the Building Societies Association and Midland Bank. He was educated at City of London School, and Christ Church, Oxford, where he was a modern languages exhibitioner, and read law. A qualified banker since the mid 80’s, Stephen has held senior banking and investment management posts. For 10 years from 1993, he ran part of private bankers Coutts and Co.

Stephen has been practising as a mediator since 2003. He brings strong personal skills as well as business and financial literacy to the role of mediator. His core qualities may be summarized as:
