David Daly 


David is a barrister, called by the Middle Temple in 1979. He has experience of land, employment/discrimination cases and professional negligence.

David left private practice in 1983 to spend 10 years, first within the London Borough of Bromley and then at the London Borough of Southwark within their litigation departments, handling planning, housing and employment disputes.

David returned to practice in 1993 and is now practising at Tanfield Chambers

He qualified as a CEDR mediator in 2004 and is CEDR Registered. He established a court mediation scheme in Hertfordshire and is a community mediator in South East London.

Settled mediations include a leasehold enfranchisement case, a number of boundary disputes, disputes over professional fees, construction contracts and employment / restraint of trade.

David is fully fluent in French and Spanish, fairly fluent in Italian and has a working knowledge of German.

His interests outside the law are the Arts generally, windsurfing and skiing.
