Brian was born in 1970. He read law at Cambridge University, and went on to take the Law Society's Final Examination at the College of Law, in Chester, gaining First Class Honours.

He qualified as a solicitor in 1994, and has practised continuously as a Dispute Resolution lawyer ever since.

He undertakes a wide range of commercial litigation, with a particular interest in contractual disputes, and the resolution of disputes between partners and shareholders. He is head of his firm's Dispute Resolution department, and supervises other lawyers who deal with legal issues affecting consumers, in particular consumer credit and debt work.

Brian is a CEDR accredited mediator.

Brian's interests outside the law mainly involve music-making: his whole family (including 2 young sons) sing in their church choir and he and his wife also sing in a local chamber choir.
